There are many methods of looking under the surface of the earth – from invasive, mechanical sampling to advanced measurement methods: gravimetric, seismic, electroresistivity or radar. However, the challenge is to map the structures below the surface of the earth in a quick, easy and accurate way. The company SGPR.TECH deals with solving this problem through the development of a broadband ground-penetrating radar, enabling the mapping of subsurface structures in many different lengths of electromagnetic waves. The second important part of the project is the data processing system based on machine learning, which will interpret the collected large amounts of data and determine the composition of materials located under the surface. The list of companies that will appreciate the efficient GPR system, which does not require such profound expertise to interpret the data, includes, for example, the mining and construction industries.
