Saventic Health is a medical technology company that creates algorithms to support doctors in the diagnosis of rare diseases based on the patient’s electronic medical records and artificial intelligence tools. The diagnosis of rare diseases is currently very difficult. This is because most physicians encounter these conditions so sporadically that they do not have the opportunity to build experience in this area. It is also difficult to access specialist knowledge in this field, symptoms are often non-specific, and there are abnormalities in patient test results. Access to specialists in the field of rare diseases is also difficult. As a result, a patient’s diagnostic process may take many months or even years, and may also lead to a misdiagnosis or a lack thereof.
The algorithms developed by Saventic Health shorten the time to make an appropriate diagnosis, reduce the cost of diagnosis as well as the cost of patient treatment, and also improve the effectiveness of treatment. The solutions are created on the basis of supervised learning artificial intelligence tools, based on historical medical data obtained from healthcare facilities. The developed and tested algorithms are ready for use in medical facilities as a dedicated platform (SARAH) through local implementation or remote integration using a dedicated API in the JSON data format. Integration with the existing IT system in medical facilities makes it possible to deliver the results directly to the attending physician in the interface used in a given unit (in the patient’s card).
Currently, Saventic Health focuses on the creation and implementation of algorithms to support the diagnosis of rare diseases in three areas:
- blood cancers and rare hematological diseases,
- metabolic diseases,
- primary immunodeficiencies.
The company’s goal is to develop a complete suite of rare disease algorithms, including skin and soft tissue diseases, neurological diseases, and more.

Szymon Piątkowski – Chief Executive Officer – a graduate of IT (Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń) and finance and management (Warsaw School of Economics), manager with many years of international experience in consulting in Big 4 companies, including extensive experience in strategic and operational consulting for companies in the healthcare sector. Fan of artificial intelligence tools, in particular in the field of AI in healthcare.
prof. Grzegorz W. Basak – Chief Medical Officer – head of the Department and Clinic of Hematology, Oncology and Internal Diseases at the University Clinical Center of the Medical University of Warsaw, chairman of the Transplant Complications Working Party of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT). He graduated with honors from the First Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw, and then obtained a doctoral degree with honors at the Department of Immunology, Biostructure Center of the Medical University of Warsaw. In 2012 he obtained the degree of habilitated doctor. Member of the scientific councils of the National Medicines Institute and the Institute of Biotechnology and Antibiotics. Author of over 100 scientific articles.
Szymon Wojdat – Chief Technology Officer – a graduate of computer science in medicine at the Warsaw University of Technology. Software and data science specialist at Saventic Health, in particular in the field of creating artificial intelligence algorithms. Experience at Goldman Sachs in the field of building web solutions and automation of data processing.
Adam Przybyłek – Data Scientist – a graduate of computer science at the Cardinal Stefan University Wyszyński, a specialist in the field of creating databases, maintaining the quality of medical databases, statistics and creating artificial intelligence algorithms.
