Since February INNOventure and the KPT Seed Fund have been working in the most modern IT park in Krakow at ul. Podole 60. It is also the new headquarters of the Krakow Technology Park located on Ruczaj, which becomes the business center of the city. New office buildings are constantly being built, and companies such as Ericpol, Onet, Nokia and Motorola are adjacent to the new campus of the Jagiellonian University and SOLARIS Synchrotron Radiation Center.
The building itself is 12,000 m2. In this, of course, office space (from co-working desks to several hundred meters offices), but not only. There is a technology incubator that supports young companies and two modern laboratories. The first one is the data center providing cloud services in the SaaS and IaaS model. The second one is the Multimedia Laboratory that provides 2D and 3D video graphics services: processing, rendering, motion tracking, 3D scanning and post-production of audio. For young companies, it is also important that they can rent equipment here, thanks to which they can test their products without spending their money on its purchase. There are also fully equipped conference rooms and a showroom, where in a professional, multimedia way even a small company can present its products and services to a large group of clients.
The building was opened in autumn last year and was quickly filled with companies implementing innovative solutions in industries related to information and communication technologies. Around 40 companies are already working here, mostly in the ICT, multimedia and games industries: from start-ups, through small and medium-sized companies to internationals. During networking meetings and trainings there is an opportunity to establish business contacts and initiate cooperation between various companies.
Such surroundings are the perfect place to act for funds investing in new innovative companies. On the one hand, we hope that the tenants of the park looking for financing for their ideas will come to us first, on the other we are convinced that the companies in which we invest will find here good conditions for work and development.
