Synerise is a Kraków-based technology company, which we support – not only because the INNOventure management team took part in financing its development. Synerise is a perfect example of combining science and business in the way that we are looking for in projects. The company offers a range of products in the field of business analytics, customer relationship management, personalization and marketing automation. This interdisciplinary undertaking is, on the one hand, embedded in social sciences – solutions related to customer relations are necessarily built on psychological and sociological knowledge. On the other hand, the tools provided by Synerise are based on modern IT solutions, such as artificial intelligence and big data. However, Synerise is not just an interesting interdisciplinary research project. Foremostly it offers the clients a software ecosystem, which enables users to unify data resources from all customer contact channels – both digital and real-world. Synerise creates its own technologies, offering a wide range of solutions for clients.
The market has appreciated the solutions offered by Synerise – in the year 2018 alone, the company acquired 100 new customers. Among the users of the company’s solutions are: Orange, Carrefour, Żabka, Raiffeisen Bank, Oriflame, Škoda Auto and KRUK. This year, in addition to the existing offices in Krakow and Warsaw, the company has opened two further ones: in the US and the United Arab Emirates. The company received the Microsoft Partner of the Year award, Ernst & Young qualified Synerise as one of the 30 fastest growing companies in the world in its EY Accelerating Entrepreneurs 2018 program. Founded in 2013, the company is currently valued at $ 85 million.

On Nov. 22nd, during the gala of EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 contest, Jarosław Królewski, CEO of Synerise, received a special award “for creating a technology company in which the founder skilfully combined academic activity with entrepreneurship”. In his acceptance speech, Jarosław Królewski stressed the importance of creating hard intellectual property that enables Synerise to compete with the largest companies in the world.

A few days later, on Dec. 14th, the AI Schools & Academy project, originated by Jarosław Królewski, was launched. Synerise, together with partners, including: Carrefour, CCC, eobuwie.pl, Integrated Solutions, EY, GroupOne, Media Expert, Microsoft, Orange, Oriflame, PZU and Żabka Polska, will organize and finance the teaching of artificial intelligence in 1,500 Polish kindergartens and schools. The first institutions in which the program was launched are schools from the Gorlice area, and the official inauguration of the program took place in the Marcin Kromer I LO in Gorlice. The program will help children and young people prepare to compete on the labour market of tomorrow, which will become more and more based on AI technologies.
